Principal's Message

Hello, Lenape Meadow Community Members, Parents, and Guests.

Welcome! Thank you for visiting our website to learn more about our amazing school.  Lenape Meadows is one of three elementary schools in Mahwah and serves approximately 350 students in Pre-K through Grade Three.

I am thrilled and honored to be the Principal of Lenape Meadows Elementary School. I have spent my entire 22-year educational career in elementary schools, and know firsthand how special the elementary school years are for children and their families.

The staff at Lenape Meadows truly cares about our students and works to nurture all areas of children’s development and learning, focusing on social-emotional and cognitive skills,  literacy, math, and science understanding.  We encourage students to be self-directed learners, take risks, and be caring, respectful classmates. Lenape Meadows strives to develop the types of programs and activities that prepare students to meet the challenges of a constantly changing, global society. Our school is a welcoming, safe, nurturing environment with a clear, academic focus. 

I look forward to meeting and getting to know the students and families that make up this vibrant school community. Together, we will make the students’ experience as positive and memorable as possible.
